This policy explains how Astorp handles your personal information. Our approach is simple: the information you keep is yours, we hold it to run the service for you, and you stay in control of it.

What we hold

• Account information, such as your name, email address and sign-in credentials.
• The content you create, such as agreements, money entries, tasks, files, photos, messages and the people you invite.
• A history of meaningful actions, kept so the service can show what happened and when.
• Technical information needed to keep the service secure and working, such as limited logs.

Why we hold it

We use your information to provide the service you asked for: to store and show your content to the people you authorise, to keep your account secure, to send the messages the service needs to send, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Who can see it

Your content is visible to you and to the people you invite, each limited to the access you grant them. Your data is kept separate from other accounts at the database itself. We use a small number of carefully chosen providers to run the service, described in our data processing notice, and they act on our instructions.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterwards where we need to for legal or security reasons. When you delete your account, we delete the information tied to it, subject to those limited retention needs.

Your control

• You can access and correct your information.
• You can export a complete, machine-readable copy of your data at any time, for free.
• You can delete your account and the information tied to it.
• You can raise a concern with us, and, depending on where you live, with your local data protection authority.
