Astorp began with a simple, frustrating observation: the moments that go wrong between people are almost never a mystery. The facts existed. They were just scattered, half-remembered and impossible to show.
What we are trying to do
Agreements live in one app, payments in another, photos on a phone, and the important conversation in a message thread that has long since scrolled away. When something is questioned, ordinary people are left trying to reassemble the truth from fragments, usually at the worst possible moment. We think that is unfair, and fixable.
So we built one calm place where a commitment and everything about it stay together, with a history that is recorded as it happens and cannot be quietly rewritten. Not legal software, not accounting software, not a project tool, but the most useful parts of all three, organised around protecting what matters to you.
What we believe
Protection should not be a premium feature
A person's own evidence, history and export should never be held behind a paywall. We charge for capacity and convenience, never for your access to the record of your own life and work. If we ever have to choose, we choose keeping your protection free.
What we will not do
We will not overstate what we are
An Astorp signature is a genuine, useful electronic signature, and we are careful to say exactly what it is and is not, rather than imply more. We do not pretend to verify anyone's real-world identity when we have not. We would rather earn your trust by being precise than lose it by being impressive.
